Today’s review is going to be the Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter. I love trying out new lip products be it lipsticks or even lip balms I’m a fan of lip products. On days when I’m feeling fancy a regular lipstick or even a matte liquid lipstick that would do the trick for me but on days when I’m feeling low key, something that’s not just a plain lip balm but something like lip butters that adds a breath of freshness to the whole natural look. I got this lip butter with a similar scenario in mind. So without any further ado, let’s find how the Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter worked out for me?

How Did Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter Work For Me?
The Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter comes in a regular lipstick like packaging with transparent lid. There are several variants in this range with different skin tones in mind. I got the shade berry light because even though it says light upon swatching it was quite bright with an amazing color payoff. These are super affordable, highly moisturizing and feels lightweight on the lips. They apply sheer and can be built up to a brighter intensity but can never be opaque as regular lipsticks. These feel balmy on the lips and not sticky wears off gracefully while leaving a faint stain behind.
The Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter is dermatologist tested and is hypoallergenic. It applies evenly on the lips but wears off very easily in just under 1-2 hours because of the balmy texture. The only thing I don’t like about these is that they contain obvious shimmers which stay behind on the lips even after the color is worn off. The Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter is a great dupe for the Revlon Lip Butters, Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, Clinique Crayola Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, Benefit Cosmetics Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm and Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen. Overall, the Almay Berry Light Smart Shade Lipbutter is an amazing yet super affordable lip butter that is highly moisturizing whilst providing amazing color payoff.
