Today’s review is going to be the Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup. I was in the Walmart’s website checking out some light BB Cream like foundations for everyday wear that wouldn’t look thick or cakey on my skin. My skin hates foundation I don’t know why?! So how did the Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup fare out for me?

How Did Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup Work For Me?
The Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup comes in a matte white tube packaging with black graphics all over it is both sleek and lightweight. The plastic cap makes sure the product is spillproof. There are only 3 different shades available in this range. When you squeeze the product out it comes out white, semi runny with some red, green grains in it as you rub it in it starts to change color and gains pigment. I bought the medium one as it was the darkest shade available in this range which sucks because I don’t think it will match anybody who is two shades darker than me.
The Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup is thin in consistency, lightweight and applies sheer but it could be built up to medium coverage at the most. If you are someone who is getting started with makeup or like BB Cream like base product then this might be a good choice for you. It doesn’t control oil or break me out for the times I have worn this. Overall, the Almay Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup is a good choice if you are looking for a tinted moisturizer like foundation. A similar dupe to this would be the LA Girl Pro BB Cream or the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue.
