Today’s review is going to be on the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. I wanted something that is lightweight on the skin that would also even it out without feeling cakey for the summer. That is when i ordered this off of Sephora. So how did the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue fare out?

How Did BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Work For Me?

The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream comes in a simple but sturdy matte gold squeezy tube packaging. The packaging is lightweight and travel friendly. There are 16 shades in the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue range and I bought the Dune 7.5 shade as it was the best match to my medium yellow skin tone.

The formula has a mousse like texture and is very easy to apply and blend. The best way to apply the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue is by using just fingers or a small stippling brush as densely packed brushes and sponges tend to soak up most of the product. It feels lightweight on the skin and keeps it hydrated. The BB cream also has SPF 30 so it doubles up as a sunscreen too. While it does give a natural look with a dewy finish, it provides only light coverage so if you are looking for full coverage then this is not for you.

The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue stays on for around 7 to 8 hours and for all the times I have worn it, it has never broken me out even though I have a very sensitive acne prone skin. This is a great product if you want to even out the complexion when you are going out just to run errands and for everyday work. For special occasions, I would like to pair it with a concealer like NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer to cover up my dark circles and blemishes for that flawless look without looking cakey.

Some of the BB creams I have tried tend to give whitish cast under flash photography if they contain sunscreen, but with the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, it doesn’t do that. Overall, if you are looking for a high end BB cream, this is one range that you must try out and if you are on a budget, then go for the LA Girl Pro BB Cream which is one of the best BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream drugstore dupe.

100% agree! My top find of 2016! Also, if you are a fan of the original BM line, you can use the Mineral Veil as a setting powder or the Original foundation to make this BB a little more full coverage but I like it how it is!

I’m yet to get my hands on their Original Foundation but I have the Mineral Veil. How do you apply it? I don’t get the hang of it.
