Buying high-end makeup doesn’t always have to be a risky task. Instead of getting several cheap makeup that ultimately ends up sitting on the vanity till it expires investing in a couple of good high-end makeup that works is actually the better idea because first even though it is expensive at least you will use it for the amount spent and secondly you will not throw it in the trash unused.
Urban Decay Setting Sprays-
Urban Decay is known by their amazing beauty products from the ever classic Naked Palettes to their extensive range of Vice Lipsticks. When you have oily skin and you want to keep the shine away, try out their De Slick Spray and if you have applied makeup and you want it to last longer will keeping it matte, go for the All Nighter Spray. Both of them keeps the skin refreshed and hydrated for a long time even in hot and humid weather.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer-
I have always wanted to try NARS makeup and their brushes. Their prices are quite up there so I did a little research before heading to buy them. I zeroed in on their Radiant Creamy Concealer and Ita Kabuki Brush as I love contouring. Their products are absolute luxury and this concealer in particular is super lightweight, full coverage and sets to a crease free finish. If you are on the lookout for a high-end concealer, then this is one you have to absolutely try.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powders-
Now a lot of beginners tend to concentrate on just the basic products: foundation, concealers, blush, highlighter, contour, eyeshadow and lipstick but what should always be added to the list is a setting powder. Granted you can just wear a foundation but after sometime it will start creasing which ruins the whole makeup. There are a lot of loose setting powders out there and I’ve given a fair number of them a try but the major problem I found with them was matching the shade. That is why I recommend the Laura Mercier Loose Powder. The powder is beige but once applied, it becomes colorless which means there is no hassle of shade matching and worrying about the foundation color changing.
If you have been following my blog over the years you would know my love for MAC lipsticks. They might be expensive but they are still worth the money. With over 192 different shades and finishes, any time I’m thinking of trying a new look, I can go into the MAC store and get the exact shade I want. From time to time, MAC collaborates with celebrities for limited edition lipsticks which comes in special packaging so if you are a collector that might make your stash even better.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz-
Anastasia Beverly Hills even though they were in the industry for so long was considered as an unknown brand until they launched their Brow Wiz pencils which elevated them to a whole new level of makeup fans. They are easy to use, come in a variety of hair colors, long-wearing and is everything you could ask for in a brow pencil.
