The ingredients used have been carefully chosen, not just for their traditional usage, but for the scientifically proven benefits as well, to create a product that’s one of a kind.
Tulsi (Ocimum Basillicum)-
A plant that welcomes you at every Indian household, Tulsi has been renowned in Ayurveda for millennia, and has been scientifically proven to fight multiple tooth and gum problems, like toothache, pyorrhoea and bad breath.
Honey (Apis Mellifera)-
Known to be nature’s finest gift, honey has benefits that have gone largely unknown. It is discovered that honey not only stops the growth of bacteria that cause dental plaque, but also prevents gum diseases and infections.
Neem (Azadirachta Indica)-
Neem, also called ‘The Wonder Leaf’, has been used over thousands of years in ayurveda for effectively treating tooth decay, bleeding gums and naturally improving dental health.
Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis)-
Also known as Ghritkumari, this pretty green plant is rich in Vitamins A,B,C and E. With astonishing healing properties, Aloe Vera is used in a variety of Ayurvedic health products and is proven effective in controlling cavity causing bacteria.
Amla (Emblica Officinalis)-
The Indian gooseberry, used to add tang to our foods for centuries, is actually a powerhouse of nutrients. An active antioxidant, amla with its Calcium absorption properties is an essential component for the well being of our teeth.
Clove (Syzygium Aromaticum)-
Historically used across Asia, Cloves have always been an active ingredient in fighting against oral diseases. Its anti-mutagenic properties and bone preserving qualities act as an additional benefit to great oral health.
How Did Colgate Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste Work For Me?
The New Colgate Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste comes in a white tube with a parchment paper like graphic which gives it an ayurvedic vibe. The cap is wide and I can easily make the product stand on its head which means I don’t need to put it in a stand. It also has the list of organic ingredients on the other side of the tube which is really intriguing. It is super affordable and is easy available in pharmacies and supermarkets. The first thing I noticed about this paste as soon as I opened is the fragrance. Compared to the regular ones I have, this smelt much more organic and nicer.
The New Colgate Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste is greenish brown in color and is ever so slightly thinner in consistency compared to the regular Colgate Toothpaste. When brushing with the it, I can taste the clove, tulsi and amla along with a hint of neem which felt weird the first time but it started growing on me after a couple of times. I have been using it for quite a few weeks now and I really like this variant compared to the previous ones I have used. It has reduced gum bleeding and toothache. Overall, the New Colgate Swarna Vedshakti Toothpaste is a toothpaste that I would absolutely recommend you to try!
