Today’s review is going to be on the Colorbar Zoom And Whoosh Mascara. I got this mascara from Colorbar purely on a whim being a makeup junkie we need no reason to buy makeup. Also if someone asks me why I buy so much makeup I can justify by saying that it is for my profession. 😛 Yes if you are new to my blog hi there! I am a certified makeup artist and I specialize in bridal makeup. Without any further ado let’s get into the actual review of Colorbar Zoom And Whoosh Mascara shall we?

How Did Colorbar Zoom And Whoosh Mascara Work For Me?
The Colorbar Zoom And Whoosh Mascara comes in a sturdy black packaging with a chrome and pink screw on cap. The difference between this and the usual mascara is in the wand. The pink cap can be unscrewed from the silver part. So what is great about that you ask? If you open the mascara with the silver and pink cap intact, the wand has a lot of product which gives a thick coat when applied. This clumps up my lashes terribly and I am left with only two lashes. But I like the application as the thin wand lengthens my lashes and separates them really well. Open with only the pink cap and as you take it out, the sleeve on the silver part will remove excess mascara and the wand will have very little product left on it.

While I love the concept, it isn’t something original from Colorbar and simple copied from MAC so I would say it’s just a dupe of MAC Cosmetics Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash Mascara. Coming to the actual product, while usually I prefer mascaras which doesn’t clump up and gives me good volume and length. This mascara gets dried out too quickly in the tube. Once applied it does stay on for more than 6 hours but it did flake under my eyes. So overall, the Colorbar Zoom And Whoosh Mascara is one that I wouldn’t recommend as it isn’t as good as the MAC mascara it is mimicking and for a drugstore brand, the price is high.
