Today’s review is going to be the ColourPop Toolips Ultra Satin Lip. I had got a bunch of liquid lipsticks from ColourPop a while back but never got around to reviewing all of them. Now I’ve decided the time has come to review all of them. My last review was the ColourPop Lost Ultra Satin Lip. So without any further ado let’s get into the review of ColourPop Toolips Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick shall we?

What The Company Claims?
A creamy, bold lipstick with a satin finish. This formula has the same high percentage of pigments as an Ultra Matte Lip but contains emollient ingredients for added moisture, keeping lips looking fresh and feeling super comfortable. Though this lipstick is super long-wearing, it is not completely kiss-proof and does transfer. High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long. Put those TooLips together and get to smoochin’ in this deepened plum brown.

How Did ColourPop Toolips Ultra Satin Lip Work For Me?
The ColourPop Toolips Lipstick comes in a sturdy, travel friendly plastic body with a chrome cap. The holographic logo is cute at first but within a couple of uses, it does wear off almost completely which is a bummer. The doe foot applicator is perfect in size and helps in drawing crisp outlines. From the 25+ or so colors in the satin range, I got the shades Lost, Frick n Frack, Lyin’ King, Toolips, Prim and Dopey that I thought best suited my complexion.
The ColourPop Toolips Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick a gorgeous grungy shade is a deep plum brown with purple undertone. The formula is thin in consistency and goes onto the lips super opaque in just one swipe without any visible streaks or patchiness. The ultra satin finish ensures that the lip shade does not dry out too much and keeps the lips moisturized and comfortable throughout the day.
The ColourPop Toolips Liquid Lipstick once applied, stays on for up to 8 hours it does have the tendency to transfer a little so be ready to retouch if you are going out for brunch or a full blown meal. The ColourPop Ultra Satin Toolips flatters all skin tones but looks different on each skin tone. For fair skin tone, it will look dark and vampy, for medium skin tone, it will be dark mauvy nude lip color whereas on deeper complexions, it will be a mauvy or purply nude shade. For my skin tone, it gave a nice grungy look that highlighted my lips like in my recent tank top and palazzo outfit . The ColourPop Toolips Ultra Satin Lip is a great dupe for the Huda Beauty Spice Girl Liquid Matte Lipstick, Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Sanctuary. Overall, at $6, the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip range is one line of liquid lipsticks that I will totally recommend and in my opinion, it is one of the best and most affordable liquid lipsticks that is totally worth spending every penny.
