As you would all know by now I am a huge fan of liquid lipsticks and I have tried a fair share of them from various brands many I have even reviewed on the blog. Almost all liquid lipsticks I have tried so far dries down to a matte finish and most of them eventually dry out the lips. How Did Too Faced Melted Berry Liquified Long Wear Lipstick Work For Me?
The Too Faced Melted Berry comes in a matte berry magenta squeezy tube packaging that matches the color of the actual melted lipstick with a golden cap. An angled fuzzy foam applicator is given which provides a uniform application as it is being applied but it becomes very annoying when trying to draw a crisp outline especially with this bold of a color. Personally, I would have preferred a proper brush applicator instead of this one.
The Too Faced Melted Berry Liquified Lipstick is a stunning berry magenta shade with a satin finish and the texture is creamy. One swipe is enough to give opaque coverage and it doesn’t dry down at all. It isn’t transfer-proof but it will never bleed or settle in the fine lines. The lipstick stays on for around 5 to 6 hours and when it fades, it does leave a faint pink stain behind. If you hate matte liquid lipsticks that dry out the lips then this one is a must-try. Overall, the Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipstick in Melted Berry is a wonderful high end melted lipstick if you’re looking for something that doesn’t dry down matte and is a fun shade. The Too Faced Melted Berry Liquified Long Wear Lipstick is a wonderful dupe for the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Radish, MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Claretcast. Overall, the Too Faced Melted Berry Liquified Long Wear Lipstick is one of the best high-end melted lipstick that is totally worth giving a shot.
