How Did Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water Work For Me?
The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a transparent plastic body with a pink flip cap. The packaging is quite sturdy but the huge quantity, though a great deal for the price, is not quite travel friendly. You could always transfer it to a smaller bottle while travelling. The makeup remover is free of alcohol, fragrance and oil which makes it suitable for all skin types even the sensitive ones. The formula of the micellar water just like its name is transparent and water like.
The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover doesn’t sting the eyes and can be used to remove lip and face makeup as well. I saturate a cotton pad with the micellar water and hold the cotton pad on my eyes for a good 10 seconds and gently wipe the eye makeup away. There is absolutely no need to rub the eyes to get any waterproof liner or mascara off. The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water doesn’t irritate the skin or clog the pores. The water formula doesn’t leave any residue behind and it doesn’t strip the skin of its moisture. As a lens wearer I can say it is also safe to use while wearing lens though I would suggest using a saturated Q-tip or cotton pad to help with removing the eye makeup. The only drawback with this was it had trouble with removing the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips as they are super difficult to remove in general and this doesn’t contain any oil to help the removal easy. The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water is a wonderful dupe for the Bioderma Micellar Water, Avene Micellar Lotion and La Roche-Posay Micellar Water Ultra. Overall, at $9, the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover is one of the best and most affordable micellar water that is totally worth a shot.
