Hello there! Hope you are doing well! I have to really apologize to you guys for abruptly ending my last season’s lookbook. With the wedding, moving to a new house and setting it up really took a toll on both of us so we couldn’t shoot anymore looks for that season. Now that we’re back my first look that I put together for you guys is for an upcoming Indian festival called Diwali which is the ‘Festival of Lights’, one of the most celebrated festival by Indians all over the world. Without any further ado, let’s get into How To Slay This Diwali In Anarkali!

For this outfit, I wore a stunning peach floor length anarkali. This number looks very delicate with all the tulle & gold trimmings and beige-gold lace layer and one more layer of tulle underneath it. With it being sleeveless, has a closed neck with gold embroidery on the collar and yoke portion it definitely looks very festive. I accessorized this anarkali with pair of stunning bedazzled chandelier earrings, a simple bracelet, an intricately designed cocktail ring, my classic rose gold timepiece and of course my wedding ring. To break the excessive use of gold tones I opted for this beautiful duochrome D’Orsays which normally looks like glittery gunmetal grey but turns to a greenish-gold when moved under the light and looks absolutely stunning with any outfit. One could also switch up the heels to any other type of shoe to their comfort. This outfit will also look fantastic on all body types and age.

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS-
For makeup, this time I went all out and did a full face except for one thing. Yes, I skipped my foundation again! To start off, I moisturized my skin and also primed it using a silicone based face primer that kept my skin matte and smoothed out any skin texture. I concealed the under eye circles and other blemishes using a concealer and set my whole face with a powder foundation for some extra coverage. I lightly bronzed my skin for a sun kissed glow and applied a beautiful satin coral blush onto the cheeks. For my eyebrows, I used an eyebrow powder to fill them in. This look is all about the bold eyes and also the bold lips. Who says that you can’t do both? I did both and rocked it and this look is the perfect example. I did a bright foiled burnt orange eye look with thick winged liner and bright sangria lips. It’s the festive season ladies feel free to experiment with your favorite makeup and enjoy the holidays with a glass of Rosé.
