Today’s review is going to be on the MAC Myth Lipstick. Being a beauty blogger I go to extreme lengths to show my readers the best of everything this buy is one such act. To write this review I have embarrassed myself wearing this super weird color on my lips. It looks like I have applied a light color concealer on my lips. Please read the full review to know more about MAC Myth Lipstick. 😀
What The Company Claims?
MAC Myth Lipstick is described as a light neutral nude with satin finish.
How Did MAC Myth Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Myth Lipstick comes in the standard black silver sleek bullet packaging which is both sturdy and travel friendly. All of the MAC lipsticks usually have a weight to them so it is easy to find the fake ones from the real MAC lipsticks. Also there is a trademark subtle vanilla fragrance in all of the MAC lipsticks which I really like. The cap clicks shut so they are easy to carry around for on the go touch ups without worrying it would open in the purse. The MAC Myth is a beige peachy nude shade with a satin finish. Even though the lipstick has a creamy texture and a satin finish, it doesn’t glide onto the lips like the other MAC satin lipsticks that I have tried so far. It goes on slightly patchy and has a tendency to settle in the fine lines after an hour or so. The lipstick in the bullet is not the same when applied onto the lips and makes it look like I have put a light concealer on my lips instead of a lipstick.
The MAC Myth Lipstick can stay on for around 4 to 5 hours and does not dry out the lips. This shade being a light nude is perfect for work, school or everyday use. The Myth shade will suit people with very pale to light skin tones especially those with pink undertones and will definitely wash out those with medium to dark skin tones. If you’re a woman of color then don’t bother checking out this shade as it’ll look like you ate a concealer stick which ain’t pretty you know. But if you are looking for a good nude shade, then check out my reviews on MAC Kinda Sexy, MAC Velvet Teddy, MAC Retro, MAC Mocha and MAC Taupe Lipstick .
