Today’s review is going to be the MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick. Of late, I’ve started wearing more and more red lipsticks and I love the way they brighten up my face with or without makeup. Though I already had a couple of red lipsticks like the MAC Riri Woo, MAC MAC Red and MAC Russian Red, I wanted to get the much raved red lipstick from MAC. So how did MAC Lipstick In Ruby Woo work out for me?

How Did MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick comes in a sleek black packaging that is both sturdy and travel friendly. The lipstick is a cool toned bright red and has a retro matte finish. The formula is super drying and application is very difficult with it tugging on the lips. Though it can stay on for around 5 to 6 hours, it doesn’t feel comfortable at all as it dries out my lips and I feel like I’ve applied a crayon. When it does start to wear off, it does so unevenly.

The MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick will suit for all skin tones being a bright red shade and will be perfect for occasions when you want to sport a bright pout. The Riri Woo, a limited edition lipstick from MAC in collaboration with Rihanna that came back couple of years ago, is more or less the same shade and has the same drying effect on the lips. If you want to get the same lipstick shade without the drying formula, I recommend you to try out the MAC MAC Red Lipstick. If you are on a budget then the best and inexpensive drugstore dupe for MAC Ruby Woo is the Wet N Wild Stoplight Red Lipstick which applies like a dream.
