How Did The Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 Redemption Palette Work For Me?
The Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 Redemption Palette comes in a sturdy black packaging with a transparent lid that lets you see the colors without opening it. It also comes with a double ended brush. There are 12 shades in the palette and they are arranged in long vertical pans. Though they might be nice to look at, compared to the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, MAC Warm Neutrals Palette or any other palettes in which the pans are either rectangular or circular, these thin vertical pans are very narrow and dipping the brush in vertical swipes is not as comfortable as the circular motion I usually would use when picking the eyeshadows from the pan.
Coming to the formula of these eyeshadows, they are finely milled and have great pigmentation. The Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette has a wonderful collection of neutral shades that can be used for everyday makeup looks. I apply the eyeshadows using the Ecotools eye brushes and once they are set, they stay on all day without creasing. The Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 Redemption Palette is the best drugstore dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette at a fraction of the price and you will find that it has more or less the same eyeshadow shades too. The downsides of the palette is that it is made in China and the eyeshadows ingredients contain parabens and that was one of the reasons why I stopped using this palette.
