How Did Makeup Revolution London The Matte Effect Foundation Work For Me?

The Makeup Revolution London The Matte Effect Foundation comes in a flat plastic squeezy tube and black screw on lid packaging. For around $3 you get 25ml of product which is pretty generous in my opinion. When I first opened the foundation to squeeze out the product there was some oil separation happening so I closed it back and massaged the packaging to mix its contents. The consistency of the foundation is quite thin and runny so be cautious while you try to dispense this product. I got it in the shade natural beige which seemed to be the closest match for my skin tone. The product is more like a BB cream than a foundation as it does moisturize the skin really well. I’ve read a review saying that it lasted upto 6 hours in cool climate but on me it lasted just over 2 hours so the whole tagline about 16 hours staying powder claim is totally misleading.

Makeup Revolution London The Matte Effect Foundation Review (4)

The Makeup Revolution London The Matte Effect Foundation will probably be best suited for those with super flawless skin as the coverage is very minimal and if you have imperfections, use a full coverage concealer underneath this foundation to make it work. This foundation doesn’t contain any shimmers but at the same time, it isn’t completely matte either. It has to be set with a powder or else it looks too greasy on the oily/combination skin type. Under flash photography, it leaves a whitish cast on the skin so if you are really going to buy use it during the day time maybe for a walk at the park or to work and definitely not for parties or any special occasions.
