Today’s review is going to be the PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash. When I was in the US for my long vacation the weather and atmospheric change were not taken well by my body. I started breaking out like crazy and my skin was extremely sensitive to even a minute change in the air. I was unsure of what was happening with my skin. When I was browsing online to find something that I could buy without a prescription I saw this body wash on the Walmart website and decided to give it a try. So how did the PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash work out for me?

What The Company Claims?

If you like the feel of a foaming wash and want the highest concentration of benzoyl peroxide without a prescription, wash on PanOxyl Acne Treatment 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Foaming Wash. PanOxyl 10% Acne Foaming Wash is the #1 acne wash in the US.* Benzoyl peroxide, the active ingredient in PanOxyl, is the #1 over-the-counter acne ingredient recommended by dermatologists.
Here’s why:
It works three ways:
1. Benzoyl peroxide helps to reduce inflammation.
2. It works as a skin-peeling agent to unclog your pores.
3. It helps prevent new blemishes from forming.
It helps break the acne cycle: Unlike salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide helps break the acne cycle, clearing existing breakouts now and helping to stop emerging pimples before they form. It works for both mild and moderate cases of inflammatory acne and non-inflammatory acne.

*In drug class of trade or drug stores.

How Did The PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Work For Me?

The PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash comes in a simple white blue plastic squeezy tube packaging with a flip open cap. The packaging is quite thick and sturdy to travel with. The actual product is thick white cream which turns milky liquid once it is rubbed on the skin. The cream is easy to apply and it spreads nicely on the skin so only a small amount is needed each time. The quantity is pretty huge so it’ll last for some time even if used daily. It doesn’t have any distinct fragrance apart from the Benzoyl Peroxide smell. I wet the skin and apply a thin layer of the foaming wash and massage it across in gentle circular motion and let it sit for 2-3 minutes before washing it off. The benzoyl peroxide kills the acne causing bacteria and started to subside the acne in just 3-4 days.

The PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash could be drying on dry to normal skin types but on my extremely oily skin it wasn’t and it worked pretty quickly in healing my acne. It could be used on both face and body. Make sure to avoid the hair from touching the foaming wash as it could change the color of your hair. I always put in a bun and cover it with a shower cap when I’m in the shower. It has not irritated or aggravated my existing acne. The only downside is it contains SLS and Methyl Paraben if that doesn’t matter to you then this is a great acne clearing treatment.
