Hello everyone! There are days when you want to be an absolute couch potato in your PJ and there are days when you want to dress up but if you are caught in the middle of both where you don’t want to put in a lot of effort to dress up then a simple sheath dress is here for your rescue. With jewel toned clothing paired with simple accessories, this is great to wear from work to even casual BBQ parties. I also added a bright red pout for that femme fatale look. Without any further ado, let’s get into how I styled the Purple Sheath Dress & Red Lips!

OUTFIT DETAILS-

For this outfit, I wore a purple sheath dress that I paired with grey-gold duochrome pointed toe stilettos. Since I was keeping it low key, I just added a pair of gold earrings and my favorite rose gold watch. Even though the dress is quite simple the purple adds a nice pop of color to the entire ensemble and flatters all skin tones beautifully.

First, I primed my skin using a silicone based face primer that kept my skin matte and smoothed out any skin texture. I concealed the under eye circles and other blemishes using a concealer and set my whole face with a powder foundation for some extra coverage. I lightly bronzed my skin for a sun kissed glow and applied a matte coral blush onto the cheeks. For my eyebrows, I used an eyebrow powder to fill them in. For the eyes, I lined the upper lashline using a felt tip liner and the lower waterline using a black kohl. I also added couple of coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. To add a bright pop of color to the makeup, I went with the cult favorite MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick that tied the whole look together.
