How Did Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent Work For Me?

The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent comes in a sleek plastic packaging with transparent lid and cream back that holds the pressed powder pan. It is quite sturdy, lightweight and it doesn’t come with any applicator. I got the shade Transparent and there are 7 more shades that can be chosen from. The powder is finely milled, lightweight and is easy to apply on the skin. The only thing I’m bummed about is the shade Transparent isn’t transparent enough it has some color which messes with my base underneath every time I wear it. The shade is quite pale for my skin tone which I’m not a fan of.

The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent stays put for around 3-4 hours before it starts to wear off on my extremely oily skin. It doesn’t control sebum all that well as it claims to be I have other powders powders in my stash that do an amazing job at that. It provides zero coverage even if you try to pile on a hundred layers and it doesn’t smooth out my pores like the Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder or the Coty Airspun. This is a similar dupe to the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder and it is nothing like my holy grail MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation as most of the pinterest dupes claim to be. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable face powder then the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent is a good one to give a try!

The chalkiness of this compact is unbelievable. Despite being budget friendly this definitely isn’t a point you can ignore.
