Today’s review is going to be the St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. I’m someone who detests going to salons to get facials because you never know what products they use behind the counter. I have extremely oily and sensitive skin which reacts to almost anything new I put on my skin. I have used this scrub in the past and loved it but because of its availability issues I couldn’t get my hands on it. I recently bought the travel sized version of it to see how my skin likes it. So without any further ado, let’s find out how the St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub worked for me?

How Did St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Work For Me?

The St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub comes in a white plastic squeezy tube and white lid. There are so many versions to their scrubs but I bought the original I tried years back. They are super affordable and the different variants cater to different skin types and problems like acne, blemish control and also blackheads. The packaging is super sturdy and easy to travel with. There are a couple of different size variants too so to test how my skin likes it or not I got the travel sized version. It is creamy in formula and contains walnut shell powder as the second ingredient. They’re not man-made beads which are basically circular and has little to no exfoliating action but this being a natural ingredient does a good job in exfoliating the skin and leaving it squeaky clean without any weird film or residue behind.

The St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is non-abrasive in nature if used correctly. The scrub contains irregularly shaped beads so I first wet my face and take a pea sized amount of the scrub on my palm and spread it evenly on my face. Once it is on evenly I start scrubbing my face with gentle circular upward motion this makes sure the skin doesn’t sag and the circular movements exfoliate the skin gently. I have never had even a single micro cut on my skin using this even though I have super sensitive skin. The beads also don’t harm the fishes in the ocean because man-made beads don’t degrade and fishes eat them thinking its food and end up not digesting it. They are also formulated without any parabens and are hypoallergenic. The St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is a great drugstore dupe for the Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula. Overall, the St.Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is an affordable and amazing face scrub.
