Styling Crop Top & High Waisted Jeggings OOTD

Hello! If you have been following my fashion posts for sometime then you will know that I love ‘fashion era’ inspired outfits. Retro 90’s outfits usually were figure hugging but not very revealing. They mostly accentuate the legs and the curves of the body. I take legs for days than anything from the fashion industry. Sheer clothing may come and go but jeggings are back with a bang and they are here to stay. In this outfit look I wanted to incorporate as many retro elements as possible. I’m someone who barely keeps up with any trends and go by what I like best on myself. This is a great outfit when hanging out with friends and easy to throw on casual days. Let’s get into how I styled a simple Crop Top & High Waisted Jeggings together to make this outfit!

OUTFIT DETAILS FOR CROP TOP & HIGH WAISTED JEGGINGS OOTD-

For this outfit, I wore a simple ribbed full sleeved black crop top and grey high waisted jeggings. I paired them with patent leather black stilettos and an olive parka (comes in handy when you live in a cold place not so much for me). For accessories, I wore a basic pair of gunmetal rivet studs, a plain satin choker and took my perforated black sling bag to keep my miscellaneous things.

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS FOR THE CROP TOP & HIGH WAISTED JEGGINGS OOTD-

Makeup Breakdown

First, I primed my skin using a silicone based face primer that smoothed out the skin’s texture. I skipped the liquid foundation per usual and went straight up with concealing the under eye circles and other blemishes using a concealer and set my whole face with a powder foundation for some added coverage. I lightly bronzed my skin for a healthy radiant look and applied a light matte peach blush onto the cheeks. For my eyebrows, I used a spoolie brush to comb the brow hairs in place. For the eyes, I applied a couple of coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. To complete the look, I applied a burnt orange red lipstick.
