Today’s review is going to be on the The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash. Recently I went to The Body Shop store to get my favorite lip balm, The Body Shop Born Lippy Watermelon Lip Balm , when I decided to buy a face wash from them as well. After checking out some of the different ones, I decided to buy the The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash which sounded perfect for my oily skin. So how did it fair out?
What The Company Claims?
The Body Shop difference: Our wild-harvested seaweed, which comes from our fabulous Community Trade partner in Ireland, is an incredibly nutritive sea vegetable that has been a diet staple in Japan and China for thousands of years. Seaweed is packed with vitamins and minerals that are also great for your skin, and because it moisturizes and conditions with zero oils, it is ideal for use on normal to shiny skin. Grown without any chemicals or fertilizers, our seaweed is an entirely natural and sustainable ingredient that re-grows fully within two years.
How Did The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash Work For Me?
The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash comes in a squeezy tube in which I find that the cap is difficult to close. The face wash has a menthol and algae fragrance which I am not a fan of. The consistency is also too runny which combined with the problematic cap means a lot of the product is wasted before I can close it.
While The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash removes makeup easily, it is unable to remove waterproof makeup. It is able to control the oil but only upto an extent. It is able to make my skin squeaky clean and doesn’t break me out afterwards. Overall, If you want a face wash that will give you a refreshing feeling then give this one a shot.
Would I Recommend The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash?
If you are ok with spending a little extra on a face wash, then I would recommend you to give this one a try
