Today’s review is going to be the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette. I got this palette along with their Drenched Metals Palette and the Matte Liquid Lipstick in Wasted. I came across this brand on Instagram when I was randomly browsing and I was blown away by the swatches. They were super pigmented and most of them were either foiled or duochromes. I immediately placed a pre-order from their website. So how did the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette fare out for me?

How Did The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette Work For Me?
The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette comes in a sleek black packaging which though made out of cardboard, is very sturdy and lightweight. The graphics on the lid is kept simple but chic and under the lid, there is a huge mirror which is pretty useful during applications. There are 20 shades in the Holy Grail palette ranging from the palest bone shade to the darkest browns and wine reds. The eyeshadows are pressed in square pans which makes it easy to pick using brushes or fingers. The texture of the shadows are smooth, buttery and easy to blend on the eyes. The pigmentation of these eye shadows are so insane that I do not need to use the MAC Prep n Prime Fix + Spray.
There are several mattes, duochromes and foiled eye shadows in the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette. For matte transition shades, I use the MAC 217 Blending Brush to lay and blend it in while for the duochromes and foiled shades, the best way to apply them is to use clean fingers and pack it on the lid for maximum intensity. However if you are in a hurry or if you want the colors to be subtle then you can apply using a flat eyeshadow brush.
The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette stays put all day without smudging or creasing and they cause very minimal to no fallouts compared to other eyeshadows I have tried. I wear contact lens on a daily basis and for all the times I have worn this palette it has never irritated my eyes. If you love neutral eye shadows and like to experiment here and there then the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette is a great one to give a try. Overall if you are looking for a good neutral eyeshadow palette with pops of color then the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette is one I would absolutely recommend!
