Hola! It is the wedding season and what better outfit than strutting in that beautiful 6 yards to your bestie’s wedding. I love wearing sarees as they are super elegant and easy to accessorize too. If you find it difficult to walk in a saree then fret not wear sarees that comes in softer fabrics like georgette, satin or chiffon as they are quite thin and they spread out easily while walking rather than something that might make you walk awkwardly. Also the right kind of shoes are important while donning a saree if you are an amaetur I would recommend wearing sandals that are flat then once you get comfortable with those you could switch to wedges. I wouldn’t recommend wearing stilettos as there are higher chances of one tripping over in them. Instead of opting for a over the top looking saree choose a simple saree and a intricately worked blouse for a more defined look. Without any further ado, let’s get into how I styled this simple Coral Gold Saree!

For this outfit, I wore a simple georgette coral saree with thick gold border that my mom gifted me I know she has great taste. I paired it with the blouse it came with; it was netted with intricate embroidery work all over with 3/4th sleeves. For shoes, I wore this pair of gold sequined and embroidered wedges that was super comfortable to wear with sarees. For accessories, I opted for a simple necklace with matching earrings that had coral-pink stones and my all time favorite rose gold watch. I kept the accessories low key because I wanted the saree and blouse to be the showstopper here.

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS-
First, I primed my skin using a silicone based face primer that mattified and smoothed out the skin’s texture. I skipped the liquid foundation per usual and went straight up with concealing the under eye circles and other blemishes using a concealer and set my whole face with a powder foundation for some extra coverage. I lightly bronzed my skin for a healthy radiant look and applied a matte coral blush onto the cheeks. For my eyebrows, I used an eyebrow powder to fill them in. For the eyes, I applied a beautiful satin bronzy eyeshadow, lined the upper lashline using a felt tip liner. For the lower waterline, I applied a black kohl and added couple of coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. To tie the look together, I applied a medium coral-pink matte liquid lipstick.
