The first product I’m going to review is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and I got the Dark Brown shade. So how did it fare out?

How Did Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Work For Me?
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Dark Brown comes in a sleek black pencil type packaging with rose gold graphics which is uber chic and has plastic caps on both the ends. On one side is the retractable pencil while on the other side, a spooley brush is attached. I love this packaging as when I go on trips, I don’t have to carry around a separate spooley brush and the cap ensures that it doesn’t deform or get flattened when it is in the bag.
Coming to the product, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz comes in 9 different shades and I had bought the Dark Brown which suits my brunette hair perfectly. The formula is very creamy and easy to apply. First, I take the pencil and map out the outer shape of the brows, fill it in and then I use the spooley brush to blend it out evenly. The dark brown shade once blended, looks very natural and blends in with my brow hairs giving it a fuller brow effect. If I make a mistake while applying or blending, it s very easy to correct and once it is set, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Dark Brown stays on the whole day until I take it off and it doesn’t smudge.

The Brow Wiz is great for whenever you want to get natural looking fuller eyebrows without looking like you drew them with a sharpie. But my only problem with this is the price, at $21, it is very expensive and for that kind of money, the amount of product provided is very little. I had bought the BH Cosmetics HD Brow Pencil during a huge BH Cosmetics haul and when I compare it side by side, both of them are literally the same and it is probably the best Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Dark Brown dupe. In fact, in the swatch picture below, I have worn, the Anastasia on the left brow and the BH Cosmetics on the right brow and I can’t tell the difference between them in their texture, application, shade and longevity.
Overall if you are looking for a really good high end brow pencil, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz range is one you should totally check out and if you are on a budget, you can get the BH Cosmetics HD Brow Pencil, L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer or the NYX Micro Brow Pencil as they are more or less the same at a less than half the cost.
