Today’s review is going to be the BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil. I got this off the Sephora website when I made an order for my mom. She has extremely oily skin which she likes to keep matte. I thought this powder will be pretty light on her matured skin and will do the job. I have the loose version of the same powder that I got in the BareMinerals 7 pc. California Set which I reviewed some time back. So how did the BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil fare out for her?

How Did BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil Work For Me?
The BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil comes in a black compact packaging which is sleek, sturdy and lightweight. This is the pressed powder version and there is also a loose powder version of the same but it gets really messy as with all loose powders. The powder is finely milled and it isn’t one bit chalky so there’s little to no kick off when swiping a brush on the powder. The powder is really light on the skin and doesn’t get cakey or heavy if you try to build up more product.
The BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil even though is limited shade wise it doesn’t matter because it is pretty sheer so the color it imparts is very light. But it mattifies the skin and keeps it looking fresh for a long time and the powder is pretty much undetectable on the skin. The powder also sets the makeup really well without settling into fine lines or wrinkles.
Overall, the BareMinerals BareSkin Perfecting Veil is the one of best powder for matured skin and but if you are on a budget or if this brand is unavailable to you then, there are some great dupes for it like the Sleek MakeUP Suede Effect Powder and MAC Select Sheer Powder.
