Hello, there my lovelies! Sorry I’ve been missing for quite a while now. Due to some personal reasons, I had to take a break. I shot this look when I went to a resort in Chennai to cool off during the weekend and loved how it turned out. This maxi dress was so perfect to wear on hot, humid days. The fabric to the relaxed fit to the pattern I love everything about this dress. My makeup held together pretty well but I had this urge of removing it because it was too humid to be with makeup on the entire day. So without any further ado, let’s get into how I styled this Bohemian Chic Flowy Maxi Dress!

I first started with this light and flowy Multicolor Cold Shoulder Maxi Dress you can dress it up or down. I took the casual route because it was insanely hot that day and I wanted to be comfortable all day more than anything else. For shoes, I opted for a pair of Navy Blue- Gold Flip Flops which was perfect for this look. For accessories, I went with gold tone jewelry like this pair of Black Sunglasses, Gold-Acetate Disc Earrings and a Dainty Gold Handcuff.
Dress- UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON
Flip Flops- GINGER
Earrings- FBB (IVORY TAG)
Dainty Cuff- ACCESSORIZE

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS-
For makeup, to start, I first applied a moisturizer on my skin so the base products would go on smoothly. After 10 minutes or so, I went onto apply a thin layer of sunscreen to protect my skin from the harmful UV rays of being outdoors. After 10 minutes or so, I primed my face using a mattifying primer. I then used a little bit of concealer to cover any imperfections and set it with some powder foundation. I also lightly highlighted and contoured my skin to sculpt and add back some dimension. I dusted a matte dusty rose blush for a flush on the cheeks. For the eyebrows, I went in with an eyebrow powder and lightly filled them in. I set the eyebrow hairs in place with an eyebrow gel. For the eyes, I first primed using an eyeshadow primer so the eyeshadows don’t crease due to humidity. I used a light wash of a tan transition shade first, then I went in with a shimmery cranberry shade. I added plum shade on the crease to add some definition and smokiness to the look. I did a soft liner using a matte charcoal colour from the same palette. I used the same cranberry and plum shade on my lower lashline to smoke out the colours. I used a mascara to bring my lashes back to life and to make my eyes look awake. I set my entire face with a long lasting setting spray. For the lips, I applied a gorgeous nude lipstick which kept the look day time appropriate and polished.
