Today I’m reviewing the City Color Cheek Stain in Coral. I have super oily skin and I have never tried cream blushes before. But I have seen other people rave about them and how natural they look on the skin. So I wanted to give them a try let’s see how the City Color Cheek Stain in Coral fared for me.
What does the company claim?
City Color Cheek Stain is a soft, lightweight blush available in 6 lovely hues. The ultra-creamy texture blends out to a natural glow with little effort, and is a perfect introduction to cream blush. Conveniently pocket-sized, it will fit right into your daily makeup bag!
How to apply?
Swipe lightly along cheeks and blend out using fingers or a small stippling brush. Build up color and placement as desired.
How did City Color Cheek Stain in Coral work for me?
To be honest with you guys I added this product to my cart from the spur of the moment without giving much thought about the product. I was made to believe that oily skin and cream blushes never work well. But I should say that myth has been busted today. I love this blush more than all my powder blushes I have been gravitating towards in the past. I use only this after trying it for the first time. Coming back to the review guys the product comes in a simple but cute twist-up tube packaging with double caps which makes it mess-proof because it is super hot in Chennai and if I take it out with me in a purse I’m sure it’ll melt like an ice-cream. So, this double cap will avoid the product spill if it melts. The product is very creamy it looks matte in the stick but when blended on the cheeks it gives a subtle color and a healthy glow to the cheeks. It doesn’t have those tacky looking shimmers. It serves as both blush and highlighter which is awesome. It is easy to apply with a small stippling brush or a small kabuki brush the product melts into the skin upon blending.
SWATCHES on my NC42 Skin tone-
• Good color pigmentation.
• 6 different colors to try out.
• Gives a nice glow to the skin without looking shimmery.
• Perfect if you want that no makeup blushing effect.
• Packaging is mess-proof with that extra cap.
• Made in China.
Would I Repurchase City Color Cheek Stain in Coral Again?
Definitely yes, because it is really inexpensive and has superb pigmentation.
