Hello, my lovelies! First, I apologize that my OOTD post is a day late. I was swamped with work this week and writing this post has completely slipped my mind. Now moving on, today’s post is certainly a fresh take on the traditional 6 yards. Even though I love wearing sarees for special occasions, I certainly have not perfected the art of draping it. So, these readymade or 1-minute sarees have definitely made my life easier. I bought this gorgeous black ruffle saree recently and wanted to show a simple yet elegant evening cocktail party look for you all.
OUTFIT DETAILS-
The star of this look is obviously the Black Ruffle Saree; what I love most about it was the subtle sequin detailing that goes on the shoulder. I wore the matching Black Sequin Blouse it came with, and it wasn’t the comfiest since I grew my shoulders, but it worked. I went with a pair of Duochrome Silvery-Gold Shimmery Pumps that dazzled ever so beautifully and matched the tones of the outfit beautifully. I skipped any sort of bag or clutch, but a Black or Silver Clutch would work beautifully for this look. Since the outfit is pretty minimal and understated, I accessorized it with my recently purchased diamonds Fine 3-tiered Diamond Necklace, Fine Rose Gold Diamond Ring. I also added Michael Kors Bradshaw Watch and Imitation Rose Gold Zircon Earrings. The minimal yet dazzling diamond jewelry amped up the look. The outfit screams elegance, and it will definitely turn a lot of heads in any event, you may attend.

Makeup Breakdown
For makeup, I started by applying a thin layer of foundation to even out the complexion using the Bobbi Brown Honey Full Cover Foundation. Using the Maybelline Age Rewind Caramel Concealer, I spot concealed any breakouts, blemishes, and dark circles. I lightly brightened the center of my face using a lighter shade of the same concealer in Butterscotch. Once the liquids and creams are all perfectly blended out, I go in with the RCMA No Colour Powder to set under the eyes, forehead, nose, and laugh line area to prevent the makeup from creasing. After that, I lightly go in with the Sephora Sand Microsmooth Powder on the center of my face. For the rest of the face and neck, I go in with MAC NC41 Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. Now that the base is bulletproof, I bronzed my face, forehead, nose, and jawline using the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer to sculpt and add some dimension. I applied a dusty rose blush for a healthy flush on the cheeks, and I used MAC Desert Rose Blush. I went in with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dark Brown Brow Wiz to lightly fill them in and Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel to set the eyebrows in place. I used Revolution Pro Regeneration Palette in Mirage and Colorbar Black Ultimate Eye Liner on the eyes.
I used Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara to bring my lashes back to life. For lips, I used Huda Beauty Spice Lip Liner to line my lips. I went in with Maybelline Nude Nuance Lipstick on the lips and Maybelline Daringly Nude Lipstick in the very center to create that fuller pout. I kept the makeup quite simple and smokey.
