Today’s review is going to be the ColourPop Dopey Ultra Satin Lip. Now this is one shade that I was sceptical about when I got it. I had ordered it along with others from the website and when it, compared to the other shades, the Dopey lip shade looked very pale which made me second guess my choice. So did the ColourPop Dopey Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick suit me? Read the review and find out!

What The Company Claims?
A creamy, bold lipstick with a satin finish. This formula has the same high percentage of pigments as an Ultra Matte Lip but contains emollient ingredients for added moisture, keeping lips looking fresh and feeling super comfortable. Though this lipstick is super long-wearing, it is not completely kiss-proof and does transfer. High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long.
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, it’s off to the club you go in this muted pink.

How Did ColourPop Dopey Ultra Satin Lip Work For Me?
The ColourPop Dopey Lipstick comes in a plastic transparent body with a chrome border and holographic logo. While the packaging does look pretty, after a couple of weeks, the logo and the border does tend about fade or get scratched. The packaging is pretty sturdy and easy to travel with. The doe foot applicator that it comes with is perfect for drawing crisp outlines especially with darker shades. The shade Dopey is a beautiful muted mauvy pink with grey-purple undertones. The formula is thin in consistency, is highly pigmented, super easy to apply and goes on opaque in just one swipe.
The ColourPop Dopey Liquid Lipstick in the tube looked much paler and I thought it would be too light for me but once applied it dried down a little darker. It stays on for 8+ hours and being a satin finish, it keeps the lips moisturized as long as it is on but incase you are wearing it out to brunch or dinner, the lipstick does have the tendency to transfer a little so keep it handy in case you need to retouch. The ColourPop Ultra Satin Toolips is best suited for very pale to medium skin tones. On deeper complexions one can use a dark lip liner from the same color family to make this shade work. The ColourPop Dopey Ultra Satin Lip is a wonderful dupe for the Huda Beauty Trophy Wife Matte Liquid lipstick, Stila Patina Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick, Kylie Posie K Matte Liquid Lipstick, Tarte Tarteist Festival Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint. Overall, at $6, the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip range is one line of liquid lipsticks that I will totally recommend and in my opinion, it is one of the best and most affordable liquid lipsticks that is totally worth spending every penny.
