Today’s review is going to be on the Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere. Not so long ago, I did a small ColourPop haul and this Lippie Stix was one of the few stuff I got from their website. When ColourPop launched their brand, this was the first product I saw all over the internet. I’m also an avid fan of Kathleen Lights which is why I got the shade Lumiere. So how did the Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere fare out for me?

What The Company Claims?
A dusty mauve pink in a matte finish created by the lovely Kathleen Lights – “I wanted a color that both bold and shy people could wear. It’s not a nude..it would look great on EVERYONE!”

How Did Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere Work For Me?
The Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere comes in a neat white packaging that not only looks sleek but also chic. The lippie stix comes in a retractable pencil and is lightweight which makes it super easy to throw in the purse for on the go touch ups. The Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere is a beautiful dusty mauve shade and has a matte finish. It is creamy and smooth to apply on the lips. The pigmentation of this color is wonderful and it goes on opaque in a single swipe but if you have pigmented lips then I would suggest you to apply 2 coats for a more opaque coverage and better longevity.
Unlike their liquid lipsticks, the Colourpop Lippie Stix don’t set so they do transfer onto cups. They are not drying like matte liquid lipsticks but you need to exfoliate and hydrate your lips before applying these for a smoother application. These settle into the fine lines which can be fixed by just smacking your lips together. The Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere stays put on me for around 5-6 hours before fading with light snacking and drinking.
The Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere is a universally flattering shade on all skin tones and can be used as an everyday lip color. The closest ColourPop Lumiere dupes are the NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anna($32) and Tom Ford Pussycat Lip Color Matte($53). Overall, the Colourpop Lippie Stix Lumiere is an inexpensive yet great lipstick that has awesome quality and I recommend you to give it a try!
