Today’s review is going to be the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Onyx Eye Pencil. My mom wears kohl/kajal on a daily basis so when she ran out of her kajal pencil and had to get a new one I got her this one from Covergirl. I’ve also got one for me to try out as it was super inexpensive and the online reviews were pretty great considering the price. Without any further ado, let’s find how the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Onyx Eye Pencil worked out for me?

What The Company Claims?
The pencil gives you control and versatility. Want a precise line? It glides on easily. Want to soften a bit? There’s a soft smudger tip. Best of all? No sharpening necessary, it’s got a specially designed self-sharpener inside. So you always get the point-perfectly. Specially designed self-sharpener. Soft Smudger tip for expert blending. Glides on easily. Ophthalmologically tested.
How to Use-
Before applying liner, determine your eye shape. If eyes are close-set or round, line only the outer corners. Otherwise, rim the entire upper lid. Gently pull your eyelid taut at an upward angle. Beginning at the inner corner, draw small, connected dashes along the top lashes. Be sure to stay close to the roots so there is no skin visible between the lashes and the liner. To make eyes look bigger, extend the liner slightly beyond the outer corners. Brush a matching powder shadow on top of the liner to keep it from rubbing off.

How Did Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Onyx Eye Pencil Work For Me?
The Covergirl Onyx Eye Pencil comes in a sleek black plastic body with a smudger tip at the bottom and a transparent lid. The only drawback to the packaging is that the eyeliner has a one way twist mechanism. This means that every time I twist to get the product out, I have to be careful in getting the correct amount or else once don’t I can’t retract it back into the body. Overall the packaging is sturdy and also travel friendly. The shade Onyx is a satin black color which is perfect for lining the lower waterline. There are a total of 6 different shades in this particular range which is great. The formula on this pencil is wonderful as it is high in pigmentation and it glides smoothly on both the waterline and lash line.
The Covergirl Perfect Point Eye Pencil is comfortable to wear on the waterline without causing any discomfort. It is absolutely safe to be worn by lens wearers as it is tried and tested by yours truly. It stays on for a good 4-5 hours on the waterline and all day on the lash line which is pretty awesome. It is also easy to remove without any excess tugging around the gentle eye contours. The Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Onyx Eye Pencil is a great drugstore dupe for the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon, Urban Decay Perversion 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil , Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner. Overall, the Covergirl Perfect Point Eye Pencil is an affordable and good quality eye pencil.
