Hey guys! Hope you are all doing well. Tell me in the comments how your week was; I would love to know. I shot this look quite sometime back when Chennai was cool for like a minute and took that opportunity to quickly throw on my beloved black faux leather jacket. I’ve always loved wearing my faux leather jackets whenever the temperature dropped below 70 degrees. This look is my take on elevating your basics while keeping it still subdued.

I challenged myself to style the most simple Olive Halter Cropped Tank in many different ways and this was my first look with it. I paired it with my favorite Houndstooth Pattern Tapered Pants these are super lightweight and stretchy. I kept the look monochromatic except for the cropped tank by throwing on my favorite Black Faux Leather Jacket. I accessorized the look minimally by opting for a pair of Chelsea Boots and a Black Sling Bag. I went with silver-toned jewelry for this look so I opted for a pair of Statement Silver Earrings, stacked some Rings, and a Watch to go with the silver hardware on the bag and shoes. I still wore my Fine Rose Gold Necklace because it is super dainty and one could barely see it.

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS-
Before applying any makeup, I slathered on a ton of skincare. First off, after cleansing my skin I went in with a Vitamin C Serum, Niacinamide Serum, Neutriderm Vitamin E Moisturizer. Well, wearing face masks has blessed me with maskne; thank you COVID. Once the skincare is completely absorbed into the skin I go in with UV Doux Silicone Sunscreen Gel which completes my skin prep part. For makeup, I start by spot concealing any blemishes, spots, and under-eye area using the Maybelline Age Rewind Caramel Concealer. I also lightly brightened the center of my face using a lighter shade of the same concealer in Butterscotch. Once the base is all evened out, I apply Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder on the center of my face to avoid any creasing. For the rest of the face and neck, I go with MAC Studio Fix Powder NC41 Foundation. Now that the base is bulletproof, I bronze my face, forehead, nose, and jawline using the Wet n Wild Color You’re Dragon Me Down Icon Bronzer to sculpt and add back some dimension. I applied a matte peachy pink blush for a healthy flush on the cheeks, I used MAC Melba Powder Blush. I went in with the ABH Dark Brown Brow Wiz and lightly filled my eyebrows in to frame my face better. For the lashes, I used Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara to bring them back to life. I went with my most favorite nude for brown girls Maybelline Creamy Matte Nude Nuance Lipstick, it is the most gorgeous nude lipstick to tie the look together.
