Today’s review is going to be on the LA Girl Pro BB Cream. While I love to cake on my full coverage foundations, on some days I find it super time consuming and opt for something lighter that will make me look put together. That’s where BB creams play a vital role with their ability to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock all in one, I use them whenever I’m short of time. So when I was shopping online, I came across this and decided to give it a try. So how did the LA Girl Cosmetics Pro BB Cream fare out?

How Did LA Girl Pro BB Cream Work For Me?

LA Girl Pro BB Cream Neutral
LA Girl Pro BB Cream Neutral

The LA Girl Pro BB Cream comes in a basic squeezy tube packaging which though not so pretty looking is quite travel friendly and easy to use. These comes in 8 different shades all the way from very fair to dark skin tone so choosing the closest match for your shade is not so difficult. For my skintone, I chose the Neutral shade. The LA Girl Pro BB Cream has a creamy texture and it can be applied using fingers, brush or a damp Beauty Blender sponge.

While it does a good job in moisturizing and evening out the skintone, it provides only sheer coverage and does not contain any SPF which is a true bummer. Overall this is a decent BB cream that is super affordable and does a good job at evening out the skin tone while looking natural. The LA Girl Pro BB Cream is the best drugstore dupe for the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream($29.50).

It is a tad lighter I might go a shade or two darker but as this is a light BB Cream the shade match isn’t a big deal.

You really think this is a BM Complexion Rescue Gel dupe? That’s awesome!

Well I will weigh in…I LOVE the BM Rescue Gel but not the price because it gets used up a little faster than the Original BM powder foundation. I ordered the L.A. Girl BB and will have it in enough time for your article next week! Look forward to trying it out!

Yes true that for the price it gets over pretty quickly. But this is one of the few BB creams that work on my skin. The BM review is up on the site do check it out- BareMinerals Complexion Rescue

I tried the LA Girl and was a little disappointed. It runs dark and the coverage is not quite up to par with the BM Complexion Rescue. However! I found a very persuasive replacement for the BM one. It is called Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. You must try to get your hands on it! I live in the US and it isn’t sold there but apparently this is a drugstore brand in Europe. Let me know if you try it! ❤️

I’m sorry it didn’t suit you well. Unfortunately Bourjois isn’t sold in India but I have heard good things about this foundation. Hope to try it one day. <3

Hi Apoorve! Thanks for dropping by! 🙂 For your skin tone, I would suggest either going with neutral or medium as medium deep could be a little too dark for you. Hope that helps! xo
