Today’s review is going to be on the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown . I had grown bored of all the black kajals that I owned and after finding the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal White to be too stark on me, I decided to try out the brown shade for a change. So how is one of the most affordable kajals in India fare out for me?

What The Company Claims?
10 Hr.
No smudging.
Waterproof.
Dermatologically tested.
How Did Work Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown For Me?

The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown comes in a black retractable pencil type packaging with turquoise graphics and a black cap. I love retractable pencils mainly because I don’t have carry around a sharpener when travelling and also I’m not gonna waste any product like I do with the traditional pencil. Coming to the actual kajal, it is a dark matte chocolate brown color with a creamy texture. Application is very easy and it doesn’t tug on the eyes while being applied.

The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown color payoff and the pigmentation depends on where you are applying it. On the lash line, the color payoff is really good and so is the pigmentation also the Brown Eyeconic Kajal stays on for a long time. When it is applied on the waterline, the color payoff is below average, the pigmentation is not that great and it wears off in a hour or two. So the company claim about the 10 hours staying power is totally false.

I’ve worn the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown a couple of times now and it hasn’t irritated my eyes even when I am wearing lens. Overall the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal range is one of the most affordable kajals in India, but for the quality and staying power, I would rather get some other kajals like Faces Magneteyes Kajal or the Lotus Colorkick Kajal both of which has really good color payoff and awesome staying power.
