Today’s review is going to be the MAC Blushbaby Blush. My all time favorite blush had been NYX Mocha as it gives the most natural flush to the cheeks with zero shimmers and it can be used everyday. But then I had seen the MAC Blushbaby Blush on their website and the color was quite unique and looked like it contained more lilac undertones. I got one of my friends to buy it on the way back from her trip to the US. So how is the MAC Blushbaby Blush?

How Did MAC Blushbaby Blush Work For Me?

The MAC Blushbaby Blush comes in the standard MAC blush packaging; the usual dull black finish with transparent lid which is both sturdy and travel friendly. As it is cheaper to get the refill pans, I opted for that to slip into my Z Palette. The blush powder is finely milled and is completely matte making it perfect for everyday wear. The part I was disappointed with is the difference in the color on the MAC website and the actual product. The images on MAC site showed a lilac hued color while the actual blush color is beige with a hint of peach more like a pale creamsicle shade.

Getting over that, the pigmentation is true to its color and is pretty subtle when applied. This shade brings a natural flush to the cheeks and doesn’t have any fragrance to it. The MAC Blushbaby shade will look great on pale to medium skin tones but might not show up for medium plus to dark skin tones so before buying it, I recommend trying it out in the MAC store to see if it suits you. Overall, I would recommend you to try MAC Blushbaby Blush as long as you are ok with the price. But if you are not ready to spend a ton of money on a blush then there is an exact dupe for MAC Blushbaby Blush which is the ELF Pressed Mineral Blush in Sweet Retreat.
