From brightening up your face on a no makeup day to creating that femme fatale look red lipsticks can do them all. I already have the MAC Russian Red which is my favorite red lipstick so far but I wanted to try out other shades of red from the MAC range that is when I came across this one. Read on to find out how the MAC MAC Red Lipstick faired out for me!

What The Company Claims?
MAC MAC Red Lipstick is described as a vivid bright bluish-red with satin finish.
How Did MAC MAC Red Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC MAC Red Lipstick comes in the standard sleek black bullet packaging that is both sturdy and travel friendly. The real MAC Lipstick bullets have a good weight to them so it is easy to figure out the fake ones from the real deals. Also they click shut so they are pretty safe to be slipped into the purse for on the go touch ups. The MAC Red shade is a cool-toned red with a satin finish and has the trademark subtle vanilla fragrance which I find to be very pleasant.

Also the shade is brighter than the Russian Red and much more creamy and buttery than Ruby Woo lipsticks. The texture of MAC Red is super creamy and the lipstick glides on like butter when applied. Being a satin finish one of my favorite MAC Lipstick finish it keeps the lips well hydrated. The lipstick goes on opaque in the first swipe and the color doesn’t feather or bleed. The lipstick has a nice shine to it which I personally like with this color.

The MAC MAC Red Lipstick lasts on me for around 5 to 6 hours and does not dry out the lips one bit. When it wears off, it does so evenly and leaves on a very faint red stain. I also like to fill in my lips with a matching lip liner to prolong the wear of this lipstick. The MAC Red shade being the classic bright red color will suit all the skin tones beautifully and it will be perfect for most party makeup and even pin-up looks.
If you have tried the MAC Ruby Woo or MAC Russian Red and disliked their drying finish or even if you hate drying lip colors in general then MAC MAC Red will be your new found love. If you want to get the same shade for cheaper price, the best MAC MAC Red lipstick dupe is the Colour Pop Jingle Lippie Stix. You can also try the Maybelline Color Sensational Ruby Rich lipstick though it is slightly less intense comparatively. Overall, if you are looking for looking for not so subtle red lipstick, then I totally recommend you to give this one a try. I’m sure you will love it!
