How Did The MAC Media Lipstick Work For Me?

The MAC Media Lipstick comes in the regular sleek black and silver bullet packaging that is not only sturdy but it is also travel friendly. The MAC Lipsticks has a nice weight to it so it is easy to figure out the fake ones from the real MAC lipsticks. The cap clicks shut so it is easy to carry around in a purse without having to worry about it opening. Like all the MAC Lipsticks this one also has the subtle vanilla fragrance which I really like and it isn’t overwhelming or anything. The MAC Media Lipstick is a dark wine red color and has a satin finish to it.

The MAC Media Lipstick has a really creamy and smooth texture, it glides onto the lips and goes on ever so slightly patchy which can be quickly fixed with a matching lip liner underneath. It also settles into the fine lines after wearing it for an hour or so which I find annoying. The color however doesn’t bleed or feather which is great for a dark lip color like this one. The Media Lipstick MAC lasts on me for around 5 to 6 hours and could hold intact with light snacking in between. The satin finish keeps the lips well hydrated and it wears off evenly and does leave a red stain on the lips once it wears off.

The MAC Media shade will suit all skin tones beautifully. I have also found the best and affordable dupe for the MAC Media Lipstick which is the Wet N Wild Cherry Bomb Lipstick. One can wear the lipstick during colder months as the dark wine red shade is perfect for fall and it will also suit most party makeup looks. While I personally like to pair it up with thick winged eyeliner and lashes. Also I find this shade to be quite similar to the MAC Diva Lipstick but Diva has maroon undertones to it. Overall, MAC Media Lipstick is a beautiful wine red shade that will flatter all complexions equally.
