Today’s review is going to be the MAC Party Line lipstick. I love wearing my fuchsias, nudes and bright red lipsticks but I had always wanted something in-between. So when I went shopping at MAC, I tried out couple of shades and finally zeroed in on the MAC Party Line lipstick. So how did it fair out?

How Did MAC Party Line lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Party Line lipstick comes in the standard sleek black bullet packaging which is both sturdy and travel-friendly. The Party Line from MAC is a beautiful sheer reddish-maroon color and has the trademark subtle vanilla fragrance. The lipstick has a creamy texture and application is really easy as it tends to glide on and keeps the lips well hydrated. Unlike the Russian Red shade, the Party Line does not go on full opaque. Once applied the lipstick stays on for around 4 to 5 hours.

The Party Line lipstick from MAC will suit almost all skin tones however if you have pigmented lips, neutralize the discoloration using a foundation/concealer before applying this shade. And as always try the lip color at the store before buying any expensive lipsticks. The MAC Party Line shade is perfect for those days when you want to wear reds but do not want to commit yourself to wear a full-on red lipstick and is perfect for pretty much any occasion from work to party to everything in-between this shade is an all rounder. The best MAC Party Line lipstick dupe is the Colourpop Frick ‘N’ Frack Ultra Satin Lipstick though it is slightly less red and more brown than Party Line.
