How Did MAC Retro Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Retro Lipstick as with all standard MAC lippies, comes in the sleek travel friendly bullet packaging. The MAC Retro shade is a warm muted terracotta pinky brown with a satin finish. I find this shade to be a tad darker to the popular MAC Taupe lipstick. The formula has a very creamy texture and practically glides on the lips when it is being applied. It doesn’t feather or bleed and applies opaque so all you would need is a single swipe.

The MAC Retro is comfortable on the lips and will usually last for around 4 to 5 hours before wearing off evenly. This shade, while being perfect for everyday wear to the office or school, will go well with pretty much any makeup look. I personally love to use this when I want wear an all matte brown smokey eye. Also the shade MAC Retro is universally flattering on all skin tones. If you are not ready to spend a lot on one lipstick then the best and inexpensive drugstore dupe for MAC Retro Lipstick is the Maybelline Rum Riche Lipstick.
