Today’s review is going to be about the MAC Riri Woo Lipstick. When Rihanna collaborated with MAC and created the Riri Woo lipstick, it took the beauty world by storm and was in very high demand. This lipstick was a limited edition and after seeing the initial response, they tweaked from the regular MAC packaging to a Rose-gold packaging which was in very limited quantities. By luck I was able to get my hands on the Rose-gold edition of the Riri Woo. So how is the MAC Riri Woo Lipstick?
What The Company Claims?
MAC website describes Riri Woo lipstick as matte cool red with a retro matte finish.
How Did MAC Riri Woo Lipstick Work For Me?
The MAC Riri Woo Lipstick that I got has white and Rose-gold packaging and really stands out in my MAC collection. Coming to the product, the lipstick is more or less the MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. It’s super pigmented and as with all MAC lippies has a subtle vanilla fragrance to it. It tugs on the lips when it is being applied on and dries out the lips so make sure to exfoliate and moisturize the lips before applying it. The lipstick is long wearing and usually lasts around 6 to 7 hours before it starts to wear off and when it does, it tends to stain the lips. The Riri Woo is very drying on lips and I find Russian Red to be similar and it is much more comfortable on my lips too. Overall, I would recommend you to get your hands on the Mac Riri Woo Lipstick if you can and if you can’t, you can get the MAC Ruby Woo as it’s the same.
