Today’s review is going to be on the Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray. I had bought this along with the other MUR products in a massive haul long time ago but I never got around to reviewing it until now. So without any further ado let’s jump into the review of Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray to know how it fared out!

How Did Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray Work For Me?
The Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray comes in a white plastic packaging with rose gold graphics and neck. While it looks good when new, within a couple of weeks, the rose gold parts gets scratched easily and fades which makes the overall packaging look very old. You get a standard spray nozzle on top with a clear plastic lid which makes the product travel friendly.
Coming to the actual product, the best way to apply the Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray is by holding the bottle at a 15 cm distance and spray it lightly all over the face to set the makeup in place. Usually, when I buy a drugstore product, if it is good, I would totally love the product but in this case, there were too many claims like 12 hours stay, oil control, no smudging, etc which really hyped up my expectations and knowing that this is from Makeup Revolution, a brand that makes really good dupes of high end products, I was expecting the Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray to actually live up to most of the claims but sadly it failed in nearly most of them.

Once applied, it keeps the makeup on for around 4 to 5 hours so it wasn’t even able to come to the halfway point of its claims. I have oily skin and this does nothing to control it even though it is marketed as “oil control”. It does feel lightweight but it isn’t the least bit smudge proof. Overall, when it comes to the Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray, I would recommend you to spend a little more to buy the Urban Decay Setting Spray or the MAC Prep and Prime Fix + Spray which may cost an extra $15 over this one but actually does all the above and I can even use the MAC Fix+ Spray to intensify eyeshadows.

Would I Recommend Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray?
An Absolute no. This costs $8 but doesn’t do any of what it claims to do so I would recommend you to buy a high end spray like the Urban Decay Setting Spray or the MAC Fix+ Spray. They might cost around $20 to $25 but they are super versatile and actually worth the money.
