How Did Maybelline Color Show Lipstick 410 Wine Divine Work For Me?
The Maybelline Color Show Lipstick 410 Wine Divine comes in a black rectangular packaging with a mauve color band around the middle. The color band is one of the features of the Color Show range where it denotes the color family of the lipstick shade. There are 4 color families with a total of 32 shades. The packaging ,while not being anything fancy, is very sturdy and travel friendly. The Maybelline Color Show Wine Divine shade is a beautiful deep wine with brown undertones and comparing it to the MAC lipstick, it is a drugstore dupe for MAC Deep Love Lipstick and MAC Diva Lipstick which is slightly on the more burgundy side. The texture is creamy and smooth and comes with a cough syrup like fragrance which I find really overpowering. Applying it is very easy as it literally glides on the lips without tugging or pulling and all it takes is one swipe to get a rich opaque pigmentation.
I did notice that the lipstick tends to bleed but using a lipliner of the same color, I was able to stop it from doing so.The lipstick has a satin finish and stays on for a good 3 to 4 hours but stains the lips when it wears off. For this particular shade, the stain looks good so I don’t mind it but other shades might not be equally appealing once they wear off. The Maybelline Color Show Wine Divine is a bold shade that will suit all skintones and is perfect for winter season and for special occasions. This range has all the colors available in the spectrum that one will want in a lipstick. The only warning I give to you if you are thinking of buying one is to keep it some a cool place at all times at it tends to melt easily and breaks or squishes when being used in a hot climate. Overall, the Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is probably one of the most affordable drugstore lipstick range out there that gives an amazing results for a very small price.
