Hello, there y’all! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. As summer is quickly approaching in Chennai, I cannot wait to ditch the jeans, leather skirts to these light and airy summer dresses. This post is super special to me because I designed this dress. whoop whoop I went through the whole process of picking out the fabrics to designing how I want the dress to be and I went with breathable fabrics like cotton and Indian prints like the Tie Dye and Lattice or Jali Prints; mix and matched on this dress. This dress is so versatile you can wear it casually during brunches, perfect for vacations or even on a daily basis. So without any further ado, let’s get into how I styled this Printed Pink Cotton Ethnic Dress!

I first started with this bright and chic Pink Cotton Midi Dress you can style it differently according to your mood or occasion. I styled it minimally for this look that was also super comfortable to wear all day. For shoes, I opted for a pair of Nude Laser Cutout Suede Oxfords which was perfect for this look. For accessories, I went for silver pieces like this pair of Silver Tassel Earrings and Dainty Silver Handcuff.

Nude Oxfords- PAYLESS

Makeup Breakdown

For makeup, to start, I first applied a moisturizer on my skin so the base products would go on smoothly. After 10 minutes or so, I went onto apply a thin layer of sunscreen to protect my skin from the harmful UV rays from being outdoors. Once that was set, I used a little bit of concealer to cover any imperfections and set it with some face powder. I also lightly highlighted and contoured my skin to sculpt and add back some dimension then I dusted a matte dusty rose blush for a flush on the cheeks. For the eyebrows, I went in with an eyebrow powder and lightly filled them in. For the eyes, I used a wash of copper color all over and added a couple of coats of mascara. I set my entire face with a setting spray. For the lips, I applied a stunning pink lipstick to tie the look together.
