Today’s review is going to be the Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence. As you all know by now I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks so I wanted to try something that is neither a typical lipstick nor a liquid lipstick that is when I got my hands on this one. After reading quite a few reviews I narrowed it down to this particular brand of lip stain. Let’s see how the Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence faired out for me!

What The Company Claims?

A zero-texture lip stain that leaves the lips soft, bathing them in intense color.
This must-have lip stain delivers intense color with no sticky residue. It provides buildable coverage for a natural, sophisticated, or glamorous look. The weightless formula leaves lips stained, soft, hydrated, and refreshed upon application.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

How Did Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence Work For Me?

The Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence comes in a sleek black test tube like packaging with a normal doe foot applicator. While it is sturdy and travel-friendly, the packaging is pretty boring to be honest. On top of the applicator cap is the color swatch with the name of the lip stain which is quite handy when you have a bunch from the same range.

Sephora Rouge Infusion in Red Essence 10 Review

The Sephora Rouge Infusion comes in 12 different shades from with I had chosen the 10 Red Essence shade which is a beautiful rusty maroon and it is perfect for winters. Fragrance of this lip stain is almost like old school lipsticks which could be overwhelming for some. The doe foot applicator is quite nice on this one and give an even application. You can apply one layer of this and you’re good to go.If you want to intensify the color you can add a couple more layers and it won’t go patchy or cakey. The downside of the Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence is that it is not transferproof and it tends to wear off quickly for a lip stain and it clings on only to the chapped parts of the lips which looks terrible. Overall, Sephora Rouge Infusion 10 Red Essence is a huge fail for me as I had huge expectations for this one after reading the reviews online.
