With rising temperatures, drier weather, and horrible pollution everywhere, having flawless skin is nearly impossible unless you are very diligent and have a rigorous skincare routine. So we are going to discuss the best ways that you can use to keep your skin radiant and flawless no matter where you are.

Vitamin C Serum

The first serum you should start with is the Vitamin C serum. It helps in preventing skin sagging and gives a natural luminance to your complexion, making your skin look and feel fresh. It also evens out the skin tone and helps in reducing the under-eye circles. This is a must especially if you want to control and reduce breakouts and acne as it helps with reducing redness and any inflammation. You can apply vitamin C serum everyday during your evening skincare routine.

Niacinamide

Now if you are like me and you have sensitive skin, vitamin C might be a little too harsh for an everyday skincare routine. Just like me, you can switch to Niacinamide. It is a gentler version of vitamin C serums and just as much, the results will take much longer to appear.

Retinol Serum

If you are worried about wrinkles and fine lines that come with aging skin, retinol serum is one you should add to the skincare routine. Retinol helps in the building of collagen and elastin which in turns makes the skin tighter and smoother. Using it everyday, you will see a reduction in the appearance of pores and pigmentations. Now if you are not used to Retinol serum, it will feel very harsh and the skin may feel irritated and itchy. If that is what you feel, then it is best to start off with vitamin A serum. It is a much gentler version of retinol serums and will help build up the tolerance to retinol for your skin. Once you are used to it, you can then add retinol serum to your everyday routine. One word of caution; Retinol will make your skin sensitive so it is best not to use it if you are going to be out in the sun or any harsh environment.

Moisturiser

Now whatever serums you use in your skincare routine, nothing will impact the health of your skin more than moisturizers. While it may sound like a basic product, even if you skip all your other skincare routines, just keeping the skin moisturized will work wonders. Moisturisers keep the skin hydrated and reduce appearances of blemishes. It also acts as a barrier between the skin and the environment which prevents drying out of the skin.

Sunscreen

Another basic skincare essential is using sunscreen. Sunlight, especially if you are out in the midday sun, can be very harmful to your skin if it does not have anything to protect against the UV light. Sunburns, sunspots, drying out of the skin, premature aging, and even increased risk of skin cancer all stem from the skin being exposed to the sun for too long. Here the best way to protect your skin is to go with the highest SPF sunscreen to get the maximum protection. There are even beauty products that come with some amount of SPF protection so opt for those at the very least especially if you are going out.

Incorporating the above into your skincare will make your skin look young and flawless in time. Let us know what other products should be in the skincare routine.
