Happy Friday everyone! 🙂 For today’s outfit post, I kept the colour palette to a minimum. While I wore a bright ocean blue grecian maxi dress, I kept the accessories muted to make the dress pop and to be the center of focus. And I must say, it worked out pretty well and the vampy lipstick added just a touch of fall vibe while Chennai doesn’t experience fall or winter at all which is a shame. I can atleast rock some fall inspired pout, don’t you think?

For the outfit, I wore this gorgeous blue drawstring halter grecian maxi dress I got from JustFab and it fits perfectly in all the right places. While the cinched waist accentuates the curves, the drawstring to fasten the shoulders gives a semi-open back and the side slits beautifully reveals the long legs while adding oodles of glam to the look. This dress can be toned up or down with the right pair of shoes, if you want a more laidback look opt for gladiator sandals but to keep the glam quotient going, I opted for a pair of black chunky heels from ShoeDazzle.

For accessories, I went with a cooler colour palette like the oxidised silver drop earrings with black crystals and dainty finger rings from Forever21. For watch, I wore an oxidised gunmetal link watch from the US Polo Assn. that beautifully compliments the other accessories. To bring a bohemian vibe, I added a pair of mirrored vintage round sunglasses from Forever21 and a small sleek black crossbody bag from Steve Madden.

Face Makeup-

For makeup, first I moisturized my skin and applied a full coverage base. To set the entire face I used a loose setting powder. To add dimension, I lightly contoured and applied some light pink-coral blush. I highlighted the highest points of my face and also filled in my eyebrows for a defined look. Coming to the eyes, I used a light wash of rosy taupe color on my lids. To open up my small eyes, I used a flesh toned pencil and then to add some pop of color, I applied a glitter eyeliner which goes perfectly with the outfit. To complete the eyes, I added couple of coats of mascara and I also applied a natural pair of lashes. I ever so slightly lined my upper lashline to hide the glue. Finally to take the basic makeup look to another level, I applied my favorite dark burgundy lipstick.

I made a side partition and took a chunk of hair from the smaller partition and started braiding backwards and pinned it at the back to give the hair a swept back look. The other side was more flowy and voluminous while the loose waves adds volume and definition the side braid and swept back look adds to the bohemian vibe that looks effortless.
