Hello there! Another friday, another OOTD! A week ago, I had asked a bunch of my readers if they enjoyed either the western or ethnic OOTDs more and I got equal response for both. As I have done a lot of western wear, I decided it was time to go ethnic again and instead of the usual “styling a saree” outfit, I went for a subtle yet colorful Off White Anarkali OOTD.

OUTFIT DETAILS FOR OFF WHITE ANARKALI OOTD-
For the outfit, I wore a gorgeous off white anarkali with yellow bottoms and dupatta. The fabric of the anarkali is georgette which is sheer, light and flowy. It has self embroidery all over the dress and embroidered motifs thrown in sparingly on the sleeves. Towards the bottom, there are yellow and orange stripes on which there are embroidered leaf motifs. Between the stripes are gold cut out detailings giving a nice overall contrast to the outfit. It has bright yellow chiffon dupatta with golden rhinestones. Matching the outfit color, I wore a yellow leggings instead of the off white bottoms that it came with.
I paired the anarkali dress with comfortable golden embellished wedge sandals. As the outfit was pretty simple I spruced it up by wearing a pair of stunning chandbali earrings, statement kada bracelet bangles and crystal necklace with solitaire ruby like pendant.

MAKEUP & HAIR BREAKDOWN FOR INDIAN ETHNIC MAKEUP LOOK-
First, I moisturized and primed my skin for makeup. I skipped the foundation as I knew I would be outdoors that day and went straight up with concealing the under eye circles and other blemishes using a combination of 2 concealers and set it with loose translucent powder. Also added a powder foundation on top for some extra coverage. I lightly contoured and added a light wash of earthy toned blush to the cheeks and mixed 2 highlighters for the tops of my cheekbones.
To frame my face better, I filled in my eyebrows. I did a champagne gold eye look with thick winged eyeliner, lined my waterline with a matte black eye pencil and a couple of coats of mascara to the lashes. To finish off the look, I applied a matte dirty peach liquid lipstick.
