Hello there! Summer is here in Chennai and I want to be in pools all day swimming my heart out. My friends and I recently went on a small weekend getaway to Pondicherry. I needed to decompress and this place was just perfect for that. It was a working vacation so we shot couple of looks and roamed the bustling places of Pondy in the night after the sun went down. The temperatures are soaring and this Summer look is great to wear during a vacation or a day at the resort. Light breathable fabrics are the way to go into Summer. Without any further ado, let’s get into how I styled this vacation appropriate look!

OUTFIT DETAILS-
For this ensemble, I first chose my pastel-neon chevron printed bikini and selected other pieces that would work well with it. I opted for a sheer white kimono top with embroidered bell sleeves that had scalloped hem and lace detalings. For the bottom I went with a pair of black lace palazzos. For shoes, I went with a pair of blue havaianas that are waterproof and comfortable. In terms of accessories I didn’t do much except for a pair of studs and my favorite rose gold sunglasses.

MAKEUP & HAIR DETAILS-
Makeup Breakdown
For makeup, to start off I applied a sunscreen to protect my skin from the harmful UV rays. I then moisturized my skin so the concealer or other base products wouldn’t apply cakey. I skipped my foundation, applied a mattifying primer and started concealing under the eyes and other blemishes using a concealer and set my whole face with a powder foundation for medium coverage. I lightly contoured my skin for some dimension. For my eyebrows, I used an eyebrow pencil to lightly fill them in. For the eyes, I added a couple of coats of mascara to open up my eyes. For the lips, I opted for a nude lipstick that is My Lips But Better shade.
