Today’s review is going to be on the Tangle Teezer. I have had this detangling brush for so long I even forgot to review this until now. I started experiencing hair loss a couple of years back and while it was a nightmare, combing it to get rid of the tangles made it worse as hair kept breaking. So when I came across this product which was marketed as one which could detangle without pulling or breaking my hair, I immediately ordered one. So how is the Tangle Teezer?

How Did Tangle Teezer Work For Me?
The Tangle Teezer comes a transparent plastic packaging that keeps the tangle teezer from getting damaged during transportation. The Tangle Teezer comes in a variety of colors and I had chosen the Plum Delicious which is a combination of purple and hot pink. My first impression of the Tangle Teezer Detangling Brush I was pretty disappointed as this product was hyped so much across all the online platforms. Even though I was using it lightly, there was still tugging and also hair breakages did not reduce.
For a product that is around 20 times the price of a normal comb that I can pick up from any store, there wasn’t much difference in how it felt when I was combing. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I gave it a few more tries but I still got the same results. To make matters worse, the Tangle Teezer should not be used when the hair is wet or in conjunction with hot tools. That meant the only time I can use it is when the hair is dry. I have medium length hair with a good volume that is slightly on the frizzy side. So overall if you are looking for a good detangling brush or you want to buy this, I wouldn’t recommend this one as the company claims are misleading.

Would I Recommend The Tangle Teezer?
Personally, I would recommend you not to buy this and stick to the normal wide toothed combs as there isn’t much difference between the two.
