Today’s review is going to be on the Tarte Indulging Lip Gloss. Lately I have been enjoying lip glosses more than the cracked, dry and stretchy feel that liquid lipsticks give. Lipgloss makes the lips look plump and healthy with a good amount of shine. It even covers the fine lines and cracks which is great. I made a haul from Tarte and that is when I got the Tarte Indulging Lip Gloss. So how did this lip gloss fare out? Read on to know more!

What The Company Claims?

This hybrid addition to tarte’s signature LipSurgence™ line delivers all the plumped-up benefits of a gloss and pigmented performance of a tint in an antioxidant-rich formula. Each ultra-hydrating, vanilla flavored lip gloss imparts natural-looking color to enhance your complexion while drenching lips in moisture and mega-watt, non-sticky shine. Infused with vitamin E, jojoba seed oil and flower extract, this multitasking formula helps smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles while moisturizing dry lips for a healthy, plumped-up appearance that lasts. The unique applicator wand features an ergonomic tip that gently glides around the shape of your lips for a foolproof application every time.

How Did Tarte Indulging Lip Gloss Work For Me?

The Tarte Indulging Lip Gloss comes in a see through plastic packaging so the lip gloss color is visible without opening which is good if you have multiples of the same. To the pale lilac-silver lid, a doe foot applicator is attached which provides even, streak free application each time. Like all the Tarte lip products, the lip glosses also have a nice refreshing peppermint fragrance to them which I really like. The Indulging shade is a light pink coral lip gloss which glides on the lips like a dream. The color is not only perfect for the hot summer days but it can be worn throughout the year with a combination of other lip colors or on its own. It is not overly sticky or anything and feels quite comfortable on the lips.

Comparing to some of the other lip glosses that I have tried in the same price range, these don’t settle in the fine lines or bleed which is really amazing and once applied, the Tarte Indulging Lip Gloss stays on the lips for a good 4-5 hours on its own and if I apply it on top of other lip colors, it stays on 6-7 hours. The lip gloss is neither very opaque nor is it overly sheer but if you have pigmented lips then I recommend you to conceal the lips for a truer color payoff. Overall, I would recommend you to give this one a try if you like a good lip gloss but if you like super opaque lip glosses then I recommend the Gerard Lip Gloss.
