Today’s review is going to be on the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint Moody. I’m someone who prefers chubby sticks to normal lipsticks when I am travelling as they are less prone to breaking and melting in the makeup bag. Travel size lip products are even more fun because they are easy to slip into the purses while clubbing which makes it easy for touch ups. Let’s see how the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint Moody fared out for me!

What The Company Claims?

Tarte’s iconic lip tint that’s become a staple in celebrity and beauty editor makeup bags alike.

How Did Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint Moody Work For Me?

The Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint Moody comes in a retractable chubby stick like packaging which matches the actual lip product shade. There are lilac silvery graphics on the chubby pencil and has a matching lid which shuts snugly. The packaging is sturdy, travel friendly and the twist-up pencil ensures that no product is wasted. I have the travel size of the lipsurgence lip tint and I find it easy to carry around unlike the regular lipsticks which might open in the purse. So chubby sticks like these are ideal to travel with.

The Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint in Moody is a berry shade and has a sheer finish. If you have pigmented lips make sure you neutralize the discolouration before applying this for an even application. The Moody shade will look stunning on all skin tones. The texture of this lip tint is super smooth and it provides only a sheer coverage. It has a peppermint fragrance to it which is very refreshing and it wears off in a while. The Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint Moody is comfortable on the lips and is quite hydrating. The lip tint stays on for a good 4-5 hours and it wears off evenly. If you like sheer but comfortable lip colors then these are worth purchasing. The drugstore dupes for this range would be the Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stains.

I am probably one of the odd people who love sheerly pigmented products. This one look nice, but definitely super expensive.

If you like the formula of these I would suggest you to try the Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stains.
